It is not easy to distinguish when trading online, and many sellers will not specify it. Buyers often find out after receiving the goods.

After a long period of market testing and customer feedback, the previous products will generate a lot of heat inside the lamps after long-term use, which is not easy to dissipate, especially in the closed environment of indoor bars. Long-term pollution from smoke, alcohol, and noise often causes safety hazards of spontaneous combustion or fire. And it also affects the long-term use of lamps.
An experienced performance business customer talked to me during a chat that they have to do hundreds of lighting and sound service projects every year, and often have to perform with lamps in different places. The loss rate of ABS plastic lamp shells is extremely high. Although the purchase cost is low each time, new lamps have to be purchased almost every year to meet their needs, and a lot of business has been missed in the waiting process. Inadvertently, the cost has increased.
To solve this problem, our R&D department, in conjunction with mold manufacturers, screened the materials on the market one by one, and finally chose to use nylon + fiber as the material for our current product shell.
Back to the title of our article, why is nylon (PA) shell the best choice for stage lights?
Stage lights are often subject to harsh conditions, including falls, collisions and even extreme weather. The elastic properties of nylon shells ensure that your lights remain intact and work properly, no matter what environmental challenges they face.
What are the advantages of this material?
1. High impact toughness, good ductility, high compressive strength and tensile strength. The specific compressive strength is higher than that of alloys, and the specific tensile strength is comparable to that of metal materials, but the stiffness is not as good as that of metal materials. The tensile strength is close to the yield strength, which is more than twice that of ABS. It has a strong ability to absorb impact, ground stress and vibration, and its impact strength is much higher than that of general plastics, and better than acetal resin.
2. Excellent fatigue relief, nylon material can still maintain its original impact toughness after continuous bending. We can also see the application of PA materials in daily life, such as common escalator guardrails, new bicycle plastic rims and other places where regular fatigue is very obvious.
3. High melting point and temperature resistance. After laboratory high temperature test instruments and outdoor harsh environment tests, we used nylon material lamps that can withstand a maximum temperature of 80° without open flames (flames) and lowest temperature -40°C while ABS materials are amorphous, so there is no real melting point.
4. Smooth surface, low friction resistance, and wear resistance.

Corrosion resistance, very resistant to alkali and most salts, also resistant to weak acids and alkalis, engine oil, gasoline, aromatics and general organic solvents, plastic to aromatics, but not resistant to strong alkalis and reducing agents. It can also resist the corrosion of gasoline, crude oil, human fat, ethanol, alkali, etc., and has excellent anti-aging ability. It can be used as a packaging product for grease and fuel.
6. Self-extinguishing, non-toxic, odorless, good aging resistance, plasticity to microbial corrosion, and excellent antibacterial and mildew removal functions.
7. Good electrical properties. Excellent electrical insulation performance. Nylon has high capacitance resistance and high breakdown voltage. It can also be used as a DC insulation material in dry conditions, and has excellent electrical insulation properties even in high temperature conditions.
8. Lightweight, easy to move and put into an air box is an ideal choice for performers.
